About this event

Join us for our first annual conference that celebrates the power of queerness in building inclusive communities!

At Queering as Community: Making Space in the Classroom, we will explore how to create safe and supportive environments for 2SLGBTQIA+ students in educational settings.

Through engaging discussion, interactive workshops, and captivating keynote speakers, we will create a social, activist, and academic environment through which we can address topics relevant to our local queer community.

This conference is an open event. We welcome and encourage allies who do not identify as queer to attend and learn alongside queer, trans, and Two Spirit community members. In creating this open space for education and allyship, we have intentionally selected speakers and workshop leaders who will centre queer, trans, and Two Spirit voices and knowledges. We similarly expect attendees to centre these community members and join us in creating positive change.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and contribute to the ongoing progress of 2SLGBTQIA+ rights and inclusivity in Saskatchewan and beyond!
