About Half-Blood Blues

This celebrated novel centres on the music scene of Second World War-era Berlin and Paris, and the perils faced by an interracial jazz band amid the growing Nazi threat. Half-Blood Blues merges music and history in an exploration of racial identity, human dignity and reconciliation.
