Conference on Sustainability of Canadian Agriculture

Sharing ideas about how to improve agricultural sustainability in Canada

Event

The Conference on Sustainability of Canadian Agriculture is co-hosted by the University of Saskatchewan and Agriculture-Agri Food Canada. We are seeking diverse perspectives and innovative solutions to tackle agricultural issues of biodiversity loss, declines in soil quality, water availability, pollution, and climate change.

There will be exciting poster and oral platform sessions as well as dedicated panel discussions on biodiversity, carbon and soil health, water resource management and mitigating risks from greenhouse gases in agriculture. The meeting will also offer two half-day training workshops for students and practitioners in Holos and Life Cycle Assessments. We expect the conference will bring together academic researchers, students, producers, government, Indigenous groups, NGOs and industry representatives to collectively share ideas about how to improve agricultural sustainability in Canada. We hope you will join us in Saskatoon!
