About the artist
This artist at a young age had the opportunity to start her artistic career by creating works for her hometown of Grenfell, Saskatchewan, from drama sets to portraits on floats, and even a small billboard for a local business. Now, graduating with her fine arts degree, she is pursuing art psychology. She is also hosting art workshops out of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. She is diverse in her artistic media but has recently grown in the obsession of oil paints. She first started painting in the year 2010 with acrylics, and in the year 2021 took the leap into oil paints. Ever since the artist was very young, she found comfort and safety in art and, as she grew older, she found passion in giving others the same opportunity to feel safe in their own artistic creations. Her inspiration is to find healing, and to create a place where others feel welcomed into their own healing.

About the artist
Kei Tanaka is an artist from Saskatoon, Sask. As an artist, she works in many mediums and forms, including oil painting portraits, watercolour illustrations, and theatre design. In December 2019, she published her first picture book, The Nutcracker.
