Learn how you can gain leadership skills, grow your resume and give back to the community as a peer mentor

Event

Join us for a College of Arts & Science Peer Mentor Recruitment Event!

Friday, March 10, 2017
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Trish Monture Centre for Student Success (Arts 249)

Staff, students and returning peer mentors will be there to answer any questions you may have, and there will be computers available for students to use to sign up. A free pizza lunch will be provided!

Arts & Science peer mentors are students who act as leaders of first-year learning communities or one-to-one mentors for new students. Peer mentors help first-year students build community, explore career options, and enrich their academics. In return, the college provides leadership and facilitation training, volunteer experience for resume building, references letters and a small honorarium.

Help build a culture of leadership in your college. To apply for the Arts & Science Peer Mentor Program, please submit your application by March 15. The online application form can be accessed here.
